Frances Sollors trained at the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. But if you ask, she’ll tell you how she’s been inspired by so much more. Like that very first bakingclass at age 11. That hand-me-down fishing tackle box of cake decorating supplies. When any one of her Home Economics students would see the art in baking. How that teacher when she was 11 became her champion and mentor. And how her mom showed her every day that home cooking is about more than food.
